Title III is a federally funded program providing resources to assist institutions of higher education in strengthening academic progams and services, and assessing and managing functions within the organization.
- What is the grant addressing?
SUNY Ulster's Title III grant addresses two (2) major components:
Component 1: Retention and Persistence of Ulster Students
Component 2: Institutional Assessment
- When does the grant begin and end?
The Title III Project began on October 1, 2007 and will end on September 30, 2012.
- How much money was awarded?
SUNY Ulster will receive approximately $1.8 million over the five (5) year period.
- What exciting projects are on the agenda?
- Luminis Communications Portal.
- Development of interventions for students on academic probation.
- Creation of an "Information Commons."
